Project Overview
A versatile retail and service center with flexible interior partitioning, high ceilings for display areas, and an attractive exterior facade that serves as a brand ambassador.
The Challenge
The retail center required large open floor areas with 8m+ ceiling heights for anchor tenants, while accommodating smaller partitioned spaces for boutique shops. The Philippines' typhoon-prone location demanded robust wind resistance design.
Our Solution
We designed a hybrid system combining portal frames for large retail bays with braced frames for the multi-tenant zones. The structure was engineered for Typhoon Category 5 wind speeds (250 km/h). The facade system uses architecturally finished cladding panels with concealed fasteners.
