The Challenge
The client required a massive production facility capable of housing heavy CNC machinery and automated assembly lines, while maintaining column-free interior space exceeding 36 meters in span. The site's high water table and seismic zone classification added significant engineering complexity.
Our Solution
We designed a portal frame structure with tapered built-up sections, optimizing steel usage while achieving the required clear spans. A deep pile foundation system was engineered to address soil conditions, and all connections were designed for seismic Zone III compliance. The roof system incorporates standing seam panels with integrated skylights for natural daylighting.
